Sticky situation for vandal

A Mulmur teen found himself in a sticky situation after police found him trespassing in Alliston last Thursday.

At the time of his arrest, the 16-year-old was in possession of over 100 blue stickers, the same type that had been plastered onto an Alliston business a few weeks before.

The business first reported the problem April 21, when the merchant found blue stickers with the word "Grind" written on them stuck onto the building.

The incident was caught on a surveillance camera, but police hadn’t made any arrested until they caught the 16-year-old Mulmur male trespassing last Thursday.

Police said the teen was "forthcoming" regarding his involvement with the sticker incident.

He is charged with mischief under $5,000 and will appear in a Barrie youth court in July.
